I spent a lifetime doing what I had to do—now I’m doing what I was meant to do. I served this country and retired as a U.S. Army Soldier. I raised a family. I checked every box that society told me were necessary to have an acceptable life. And then one day, I looked around and realized I’d been pushing the dream aside for too long. And that pursuit of someone else’s dream robbed me of all the intense boldness I once had. So, it was time to reset and remember my “Why.” That music has been my compass through life—helping me navigate struggles, triumphs, and everything in between. It was always the fire under the surface. It was time to let it burn.

I started Jason Patrick X in December 2024—without a band behind me, but with a guitar in my hand and a vision that refused to wait. Jason Patrick X — “The Sound of Generation X. That’s who I am. That’s who I speak for. I built this project to carry the voice of a “Forgotten Generation.” One that's been through the wringer and come out the other side stronger than ever. We’re older, maybe a little bruised, but we still believe in the power of a damn good song.

People say my sound is aggressive yet vulnerable. Both mysterious and sexy. A dose of nostalgia —but with a modern edge. It hits hard. The lyrics are honest. No fluff. No filters. Just truth, passion, and a relentless drive to press forward. It is authentically and unapologetically me. In other words, real music that makes you feel.

When I’m not writing, recording, or dreaming up the next release, I’m pouring everything I’ve learned into my kids. They’re going to be monsters in this industry. Mark my words.

I’ve trained for this moment my whole life. I’ve got the degrees—Bachelors and Masters in Songwriting and Production from the Berklee College of Music. I’ve got the scars. And now, I’ve got the songs.

This is the mission now: to make you feel something.
